Texas Sheet Cake

Ingredients:
 
2 cups sugar
2 cups flour, Pinch of salt     Put in large bowl

In saucepan put:
1/2 cup margarine
4 Tblsp cocoa
1/2 cup crisco
1 cup water
Put on stove and stir continuously. Bring to a boil. Pour in flour and sugar mix. Beat by hand

Add: 2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup buttermilk ( 1 tsp lemon juice in rest of milk to get to 1/2 cup, let sit until it is buttermilk)

Beat together

Grease sheetpan. Pour in batter and smooth out. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes

Frosting:
While cake is baking mix 1/2 cup margarine, 4 Tbsp cocoa, 1/3 cup milk. Bring to a boil. Stir continuously then remove from heat.
Add 4 cups powder sugar. Beat until smooth. When cake is done remove from oven and pour frosting on top and let cool
